What's Congress Talking About?

A new feature in ProPublica’s Represent site shows what Congress talked about each week. Using a modified machine-learning algorithm called tfidf, a system I built processes all the press releases published that week and extracts the words and phrases that are most common that week but rarest in the past few years.
