Men Dominate in Political Giving; Hillary Clinton’s Donors Are an Exception

Even though more women vote than men, men contribute more – both in terms of frequency and amount – to politicians. However, Hillary Clinton’s donors are, perhaps unsurprisingly, far more likely to be women. But, the male Senator who had the most-even ratio of male to female donors? Bernie Sanders. We’ll see how that effect falls out.
