Upton: A Web-Scraping Framework

I built and open-sourced a small framework for web-scraping, based on my experience on a variety of projects, including Dollars for Docs. In this post for ProPublica’s Nerd Blog, I describe the motivation and architecture of the project (which is still under infrequent development as of Dec. 2014).
